About our cause
PSPA Nottinghamshire Group provides a much loved and valued service for the community. Our aim is simply to make sure those living with PSP live the best life they can.
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
You may not have heard of PSP and that is exactly why the Nottinghamshire Group is committed to raising awareness of these diseases within our area. In turn this will ensure those living with these conditions get the timely support and benefits they so desperately need.
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a neurological condition caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain.
Over a period of time this can lead to difficulties with balance, movement, vision, speech and swallowing. Currently there is no treatment and no cure.
There are believed to be around 4000 people living with PSP in the UK at any time. Help us to help them.
PSP Association (PSPA) is a national charity providing support and information to people living with PSP, while funding research into treatments and ultimately a cure. We rely solely on voluntary donations.
Thank you for your support and good luck!
Yours sincerely
Mrs Alison Taylor
